Ranveer Singh rang in two years of his film ‘Simmba’ on Monday. The actor worked with Rohit Shetty for the first time through the movie, which commenced the idea of a ‘cop franchise’.
Ranveer, who had worked with Rohit for a commercial, collaborated with the filmmaker for a ‘hardcore commercial cinema’ for the first time through ‘Simmba’. The actor often referred to Rohit as the ‘Undisputed king of the Box-Office’ and ‘Bossman’.
Using the hookline of one of the most popular songs from ‘Simmba’, Ranveer shared a video and wrote, “AAYA POLICE!!! Two years of my first foray into hardcore commercial cinema with the Undisputed KING of the Box-office, one & only BOSSMAN @itsrohitshetty. Ek hi toh hai!”
He thanked Rohit and mentioned, “Thank you Boss for embracing me into your Team, teaching me the ropes, and giving me an everlasting and cherished film that I am most proud of! #love #gratitude.”
