Kangana Ranaut met defence minister of India Rajnath Singh on Sunday. The actress’ purpose of visit was to make him aware about her upcoming film ‘Tejas’, which is based on an Indian Air Force pilot. For the uninformed, Kangana plays the role of a woman pilot in the movie.

Kangana reportedly met Rajnath Singh to sort a few obstacles the movie was facing. She seeked permissions from Singh in order to shoot the movie as per the plan of the producers.

Kangana shared images of her travel and meeting Rajnath Singh. She also posted images of the team of ‘Tejas’ greeting Singh during the meeting. Her sister Rangoli could also be seen in one of the images.

“Today team #Tejas met honourable defence minister Shri @rajnathsingh ji for his blessings, we shared the script of our film Tejas with @IAF_MCC as well and seeked few permissions, Jai Hind,” she wrote alongside the pictures.

Kangana also wrapped up the shooting of her movie ‘Thalaivi’ on Saturday. She shared a picture of J Jayalalithaa who was seen showing the same victory symbol through her right hand, for the wrap. For the uninformed, ‘Thalaivi’ is a biopic on the life of politician-actor J Jayalalithaa, who was lovingly also called ‘Amma’.

Sharing the images, Kangana wrote, “And it’s a wrap, today we successfully completed the filming of our most ambitious project Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader, rarely an actor finds a character that comes alive in flesh and blood and I fall in love so hard but now suddenly it’s time to say bye, mixed feelings.”

Here’s her post:

She also wrote, “Opportunity of a lifetime thank you team @vishinduri @ShaaileshRSingh @BrindaPrasad1 @neeta_lulla @rajatsaroraa , Vijendra Parsad ji @ballusaluja @gvprakash @thearvindswami and director A. L. Vijay sir, each and every member of my wonderful crew, thank you thank you thank you.”

The actor was shooting for ‘Thalaivi’ in Hyderabad. The J Jayalalithaa’s biopic is directed by AL Vijay.
